Welcome to Sintratur

The horse-drawn carriages are an ex-libris of the World Heritage Site of the Historical Center of Sintra. Without ever having ceased to exist, the horses continue trotting through the streets of Vila and the Sintra Mountain, giving the passenger a part of the magic of the mountain and the romanticism of its surroundings.

SINTRATUR has 10 carriages pulled by two horses, with capacity of up to four adults each.

Our carriages are original ‘milords’ and ‘jardineira’ of the 1920s, well recuperated to preserve the old style. 9 of them have hoods to rise to protect from sun, wind and light rain, if necessary.
